China sends two BeiDou-3 navigation satellites into space on a single carrier rocket from Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Xichang.

Both satellites belong to the mid-circle earth orbit satellites. They are the 13th and 14th netted satellites of China's Beidou-3 system and the 37th and 38th Beidou navigation satellites successfully launched by China.

The two satellites are the first to be loaded with the International Search and Rescue Organization standard equipment, which will provide danger alerts and navigation services for global users.
